Solidarity Fund

At Climate Camp we aim to build an accessible and welcoming temporary community. Most people involved are volunteering, however we recognise that the systems we live under can make it more difficult for some people to give their time without financial reimbursement. While we don’t have a lot of money, we are hoping to raise funds to support anyone offering a workshop who needs it to travel to the camp and/or be paid for the time giving the workshop.
We are organising on the basis of trust and solidarity. You are welcome to apply for this funding without needing to explain why you need it. We only ask that when considering whether to apply for this fund that you act in solidarity with others who may need it more due to the oppressive systems they are living under.
(Please note that this funding is dependent on us raising the money required. If you apply we will let you know as soon as possible if we are successful)
