Climate Camp Ireland will be taking place 7 – 9 August 2026 in a beautiful site in west Clare. More details and registration here!
This year the camp will focus on the Shannon Basin — connecting the struggles against US military use of Shannon Airport, LNG terminals, data centre expansion, mining and water extraction from the River Shannon.
As heatwaves and forest fires sweep across Europe, Climate Camp 2026 is an opportunity to become proactive, to see the connections between militarisation, climate change and environmental justice, and the ways we can respond to them.
The camp will be a space of education and connection, allowing for people, communities and groups from across the island and beyond to come together to learn from each other and build common plans for working together in the future. And it will be a space of community, where we will live together, eating, working, learning, singing, dancing and dreaming together, building the collective strength that we need now more than ever.
