At Climate Camp we aim to build an accessible and welcoming temporary community. Most people involved are volunteering, however we recognise that the systems we live under can make it more difficult for some people to give their time without financial reimbursement. Therefore we are happy to share that this year we have been able to raise limited funds in order to support people to attend.
While we have access to some funds this year, there is a limited amount. We are organising on the basis of trust and solidarity. You are welcome to apply for this funding without needing to explain why you need it. We only ask that when considering whether to apply for this fund that you act in solidarity with others who may need it more due to the oppressive systems they are living under.
